You will notice a difference, however you should still setup a PHP opcode cacher like APC or Xcache for any PHP portions that run.

This is really outside of my zone of experience -doing this install.
I would be fearful of messing something up.

So quick question - if I use w3 Total Cache plugin instead, would that provide as good performance increase in speed?

I understand if you can't answer this.
thanks

Yea, I think its processing all the files time stamps and sizes and then checking for changes. File a bug report with JungleDisk, they might be able to rectify the problem. I've noticed that JungleDisk is becoming more and more stable, I've only had an issue in the last 2 months where I had to restart a daemon on a server I was backing up.

At my day job I have just started testing cloud backup solutions. I was sure after a short test that Jungledisk was the way to go. Then a week later all the backups on a folder that contained a few hundred folders with around 900,000+ files all small 1-4mb .pdf files started taking forever to "scan for backup". No matter what I do unless I create a very small say 10 or 20 gb backup it will not work.

Yes, you need to get into the ESXi host using SSH. This can be done using the the following ariticle.

But where do you enter that command? SSH into the ESXi box to run it or what? Do I need to drill down to the directory where the Virtual Hard Drive folder is located?
