AT&T LG Prada-ish phone leaked

More information about the Prada phone in regards to the US version. AT&T LG Prada-ish phone leaked – Woosah. You have no idea how much this leak pisses me off, but that’s neither here nor there. The Gizza has the scoop on the US AT&T version of the LG Prada, which is the CU920 and not the KE850. This, however, seems to be much better with supposed 3G and it’s pretty lightweight. It has iPhone-like zooming when browsing, but a few more steps required. Who knows when this sucker is going to be announced, but the two main touchscreen rivals on the same network? Like whoa.AT&T LG Prada Spy Shots

Fiber Optic Table Illuminates Your Dining

Fiber Optic Table Illuminates Your Dining - Deepa writes "We highly doubt LumiGram's Luminous Fiber Optic Tablecloth was designed with power outages in mind, but why hook up a boring string of lamps or fiddle with half melted candles when you can plug this bad boy into the generator? The cloth, which has fiber optics woven throughout, cotton borders, and a Europlug mains adapter, proves most useful when the lights are dimmed, and should prove quite the centerpiece at your next get-together. The illuminating device is available in a trio of sizes, comes in a variety of color schemes."

Exim4 and PHP and PHP-CGI mail() function using incorrect From: and applying Sender: headers.

If you're using Exim4 and PHP as a module or as a CGI with suexec. You may have noticed some issues with your mail. Specifically you would have noticed that either the "From:" header was using "nobody@machinename" or "user@machine name, its also possibly that you had an additional header called "Sender:". There are two things you need to do to fix this. You first need to make sure that your "php.ini" has the following value "sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i". Which is the default, double check this variable as it might be set to something else.

Report: Vista more secure than OS X and Linux

Report: Vista more secure than OS X and Linux -

Attention Linux, Vista, and Apple fan boys: put on your gloves... it's time to rumble! A 6-month vulnerability report issued by Jeff "Security Guy" Jones has caught the eye of Redmond and the ire of places beyond. The report which bases its security assessment upon vulnerabilities found (not actually exploited) claims that Vista is "more secure than OS X and Linux." In fact, the much maligned XP even crushes the competition using their calculations. Of course, it's worth noting that Jeff is a member of Microsoft's Security business unit which will probably sway your opinion as to the integrity of the data. Still, as incomplete as the assessment may be, it certainly appears to be a good showing for Vista considering the vast community of hackers attempting to thwart its security. Of course you know what Billy G's probably saying right about now? Dy-no-mite JJ!

WWDC Leopard Beta Leaked Onto BitTorrent Site

I haven't seen this on any private trackers that I'm on. It looks like it hasn't fully been leaked. Either way, I want to install this and try it out. I am definitely liking OSX more and more as they keep adding features and GUI improvements.
WWDC Leopard Beta Leaked Onto BitTorrent Site -

leooinkleaked.jpg

It looks like the WWDC beta of Leopard was leaked onto the Oink BitTorrent Web site. (I’m not about to download it, though, that’s for sure.) Here’s a screen shot. And another. And another. That last one made me laugh. Oops!

Nobody’s completely downloaded the 6GB file yet, but the site’s forum is red hot with activity and the file already has 205 comments. Choice lines about the leak in recent days have included “this is f*#$ing ridiculous. i want leopard, and i want it now. hurry, before some heads start to roll” and “Please do not talk about this torrent file outside of OINK.”

Someone should notify Apple.
