Google opens up malware blacklist API

This is awesome. I recently took a trick to Las Vegas, and wondered about all of the the neat hardware that runs the screens and lights.

Microsoft agrees to release a patch to fix some of the security issues but not all in Internet Explorers URI Handler. I don't understand why Microsoft has such a lazy stance on security, I want to use Internet Explorer just as securely as any other browser. One mis-typed url after a fresh install of Windows could cause malicious software to gain entry to me desktop.

I ran into this article about how you can seamlessly run Windows Applications from within Ubunutu. The author is using VMware, rdesktop (apt-get install rdesktop), and Seamless RDP. http://hehe2.net/thedarkside/microsoft/run-windows-apps-100-seamlessly-on-ubuntu/
