Senior DHS officials admitted to Congress that over a two year period there were 800 hacker break-ins, virus outbreaks and in one instance, hacker tools for stealing passwords and other files were found on two internal Homeland Security computer systems. I remember first hearing about flock. I actually got a version of it when it was just skinned to look different than FireFox. I didn't expect the project to get this far. Give it a wirl, looks to be promising.

Must have Thunderbird/Seamonkey Addons

If you don't know about Thunderbird, then you've been living under a rock. Its a small, lightweight, Email application provided free by the Mozilla foundation. I was looking around for Thunderbird add-ons this evening and found a couple that I found to be a "Must Have" for anyone that uses Thunderbird as their primary email client. I'll list them off in no particular order: Enigmail - OpenPGP message encryption and authentication for Thunderbird and Seamonkey.

If you were tasked with building a time zone synching application, you could probably do it in less than 1MB. Maybe you Linux guys could write it in one line of Perl (or at least brag about having the ability to write it in one line of Perl). Hell, maybe you'd just use the built-in synching functionality in your favorite OS. Anyhow, I can't imagine the crazy Western Australian rules for calculating time that make this software baloon to 4GB.
