Annoyed, hospitalized teen unplugs neighbor's life support – Filed under: Misc. Gadgets It should probably go without saying that anything connected to a power source within the confines of a hospital has a fair shot at being pertinent to the livelihood of at least one individual, but obviously a 17-year old teenager in Germany needed the memo. After the perpetual noise of what would prove to be his neighbor’s life support machine “got on his nerves,” he proceeded to simply unplug the device without precaution in order to ensure that “he got his peace and quiet.” Of course, we can only assume that the sirens and squeals that were emitted due to his misreckoning were immensely louder than the prior hum, but some folks just love to learn the hard way. Thankfully, medical personnel stepped in and saved the man from perishing, but the teen at fault lost a lot more sleep after that whilst being questioned by police. Now this is actually kinda sad, getting ripped off twice and then getting store credit each time would get a lot of people worked up. Shame on Target for not giving a refund, and instead giving in-store credit.

This is a pretty crazy story about how Interpol within Paris reverted a doctored photo of a man who was sexually exploiting children, the photo was blur'd using photoshop and they somehow were able to remove the blur and actually reveal the mans face. They're not sharing what technique was used top remove the doctored portion of the photo.

Mmm, there's nothing like fragmented high-resolution photos of a lust-worthy device to get us salivating, and iriver's marketing department has done an exquisite job figuring that out. Shortly after unveiling the sexiest e-dictionary known to man, the much anticipated UNIT2 conglomerate received its own teaser site, complete with photos and a few extra details you should know. While it has yet to lose its mystique, we now know (officially, at least) that the base will act as a DVD player, TV tuner, access point, charging station, hard drive, and a speaker station. Aside from sporting an SD slot and USB connectivity, this beauty will handle music, movies, photos, eBooks, and WiFi streaming without breaking a sweat. Mechanically, you can expect an automatic sliding door, detachable display, slot-loaded CD / DVD deck, and a 78-key controller to manage the fun. No word yet on the price, but be sure to peek the additional photos below.
