This is one of the best xwindows/xorg windows managers ever made. I use this on all my work stations because of its awesome features which include.

* Configurable window tabs.
* Iconbar (for minimized/iconified windows)
* Wheel scroll changes workspace
* Configurable titlebar (placement of buttons, new buttons etc)
* KDE support
* New native integrated keygrabber
* Maximize over slit option
* Partial GNOME support
* Extended Window Manager Hints support
* Slit dockap ordering
* Other minor features

The feature that I use most often are the window tabs, which allow grouping and fast switching like the TabMix Plus extension for FireFox. And the key binding configuration, which is relatively easy to use. Once you have fluxbox configured, it will drastically increase your productivity.

Ever notice that sometimes your sites take a while to load all the way because google's urchin.js file is taking forever? You may recognize this problem when you see something similar to this in your browsers status bar "Transferring data from google-analytics.com..." Time To Setup? 4 minutes I got tired of seeing that all the time and so I set up an automated cronjob that runs every 12 hours and downloads the latest version from google, and saves it to my website directory, then I reference /urchin.js instead of http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js.. and my site loads a lot faster!

Splunk 3.1: A search engine that indexes all your servers logs, scripts, code and message traps

I had the chance to try Splunk out about 3 months ago. The software was rather easy to install, however one thing that did seem to a little hard to use was the interface and the general working with inputs for the software. The search function was really neat, and easy to find errors that were occurring. The free version is limited but still usable, in a larger environment this product would probably be a life saver. Single server deployments, not so much.
