Creative Zen Stone Plus lobbed at consumers

Creative Zen Stone Plus lobbed at consumers – Filed under: Portable Audio It was barely a month ago that Creative pelted the market with its Zen Stone, and now they’re rolling out a re-upped and revamped version known as the Zen Stone Plus. While pretty much keeping the form factor the same, Creative has added a blue OLED screen, FM tuner, karaoke mode, and a stopwatch. The capacity has been increased to 2GB, doubling the original Stone’s, but the color choices remain the same. Price and release date haven’t been mentioned, but you’ll know as soon as we do. Error'd: More Like Didgeridon't! -

If you were tasked with building a time zone synching application, you could probably do it in less than 1MB. Maybe you Linux guys could write it in one line of Perl (or at least brag about having the ability to write it in one line of Perl). Hell, maybe you'd just use the built-in synching functionality in your favorite OS. Anyhow, I can't imagine the crazy Western Australian rules for calculating time that make this software baloon to 4GB.

Red Hat previously provided their Variant of Linux for free, and then discontinued it. They now provide a free desktop version called Fedora there are also other variants of Fedora like CentOS which is more of an enterprise operating system very much like Red Hat but not affiliated with Red Hat directly.
