Drupal Day 1

So, this is what Day 1 is like. I have a nice theme that I got off the main Drupal site. As you can see its sleep and colorful but not overwhelming. Aside from messing with the general configuration of Drupal, there is a lot more you need to do to make it even remotely functional/organized. Lets take categories for instance. At first I didn't know exactly how these worked. However after some playing around, and further posting. I was able to separate my blog entries and the HOWTO's. I just create a new Category for each, and then provide terms to place them under which is a great feature.

iriver’s UNIT2 detailed on teaser site

One of the sexist and functional MP3 devices I've seen yet. The iPod had its time, and even the smallest iPod is really sexy. But this is just over the top.

Mmm, there's nothing like fragmented high-resolution photos of a lust-worthy device to get us salivating, and iriver's marketing department has done an exquisite job figuring that out. Shortly after unveiling the sexiest e-dictionary known to man, the much anticipated UNIT2 conglomerate received its own teaser site, complete with photos and a few extra details you should know. While it has yet to lose its mystique, we now know (officially, at least) that the base will act as a DVD player, TV tuner, access point, charging station, hard drive, and a speaker station. Aside from sporting an SD slot and USB connectivity, this beauty will handle music, movies, photos, eBooks, and WiFi streaming without breaking a sweat. Mechanically, you can expect an automatic sliding door, detachable display, slot-loaded CD / DVD deck, and a 78-key controller to manage the fun. No word yet on the price, but be sure to peek the additional photos below.

Creative Zen Stone Plus lobbed at consumers

Creative Zen Stone Plus lobbed at consumers -

Filed under:

It was barely a month ago that Creative pelted the market with its Zen Stone, and now they're rolling out a re-upped and revamped version known as the Zen Stone Plus. While pretty much keeping the form factor the same, Creative has added a blue OLED screen, FM tuner, karaoke mode, and a stopwatch. The capacity has been increased to 2GB, doubling the original Stone's, but the color choices remain the same. Price and release date haven't been mentioned, but you'll know as soon as we do.

DeviceAnywhere lets devs play with 500 phones over the net

DeviceAnywhere is a company that wires cellphone hardware into servers, which are then accessible over the internet. Mainly used by software developers and for cross platform development, instead of buying all the phones you can just rent them and use them over the internet.
Talk about the ultimate iPhone hack. Mobile Complete, a software-services company, has pulled an iPhone to pieces and lashed it to a remote-controlled server. Every input and output on the dissected iPhone is electrically hooked up to the net, providing access to would-be iPhone programmers over the web.
